Carlos Bernardo is a Lisbon-based photographer who started his photographic journey ten years ago, when he got his first camera. Picking it up now and then, he has found a burning out-of-the-chest love for photography recently, in 2022, when introduced to the genre of street photography. Since then, he has been walking the streets tirelessly in a hungry desire to capture the beauty of simple things, immortalizing it in a frame. Working on his view on life through his rangefinders, he finds his candid shots a reflection of both sides of the camera, of the intra and interpersonal essence of the human being; this is where he finds his interests united, as if painted by the eye, feasting together. Given his passion for technical disciplines and artistic matters, his chameleonic taste leans towards humanity, placing humans and their behaviour at the center of his photographic interest, in a sort of philosophical poem written by light.
